Original Computational Research
7DNA conducts active research across neuroinformatics, drug target identification, multi-omics and biomedical AI, generating methods, datasets and publications that advance the field.
Current Research Programmes
Three core research programmes are currently active at 7DNA Analytica, each producing computational methods, software tools and scientific outputs.
Computational Neuroimaging & Brain Connectomics
Neuroinformatics · Graph Theory · fMRI · DTI
This programme applies graph-theoretic analysis to resting-state fMRI and DTI-derived structural connectivity matrices. We compute brain-connectivity signatures, including global efficiency, local efficiency, clustering coefficient and modularity, across clinical cohorts and healthy populations. The NeuroSignature platform is the primary software output of this programme.
Computational Drug Target Identification
Drug Discovery · Molecular Docking · Bioinformatics
Using a multi-pronged computational approach, this programme integrates network pharmacology, structural bioinformatics and molecular docking to identify and validate drug targets. We combine publicly available omics data with structure-based methods to propose and rank candidate targets for diseases of interest, focusing on targets with unmet clinical need and druggable binding sites.
Multi-Omics Data Integration
Genomics · Transcriptomics · Proteomics · Data Analytics
This programme develops and applies statistical frameworks for integrating data across multiple biological layers, genome, transcriptome, proteome and metabolome. We focus on identifying cross-layer biomarkers, building predictive models from multi-omics features, and developing publicly accessible analysis pipelines for the research community.
