Scientific Technology.
Not Just Consulting.
7DNA Analytica builds platforms, conducts original research, and partners on R&D in computational biology, biomedical AI and the life sciences, combining the rigour of academic science with the focus of a technology company.
Advancing Life Sciences Through Computation
We founded 7DNA Analytica with a single conviction: that the most important problems in biology and medicine are increasingly computational problems. Decoding a genome, modelling a drug interaction, mapping a brain network, each of these demands rigorous computation as much as wet-lab intuition.
Our mission is to build the scientific technology and carry out the research that makes that computation possible, accessible and impactful, for labs, for companies, and for science at large.
- ✓A scientific technology company, we build and own our products.
- ✓An active research organisation, we conduct original computational research.
- ✓An R&D partner, we collaborate with pharma, biotech and academia.
- ✗Not a generic IT consultancy or BPO, our work is scientific, computational and domain-specific.
Three Principles That Guide Our Work
Computational Rigour
We treat science as science. Our methods are validated, our pipelines are reproducible, and our outputs are grounded in peer-reviewed methodology. We don't shortcut the computation.
Scientific Integrity
We publish our methods, acknowledge uncertainty, and share datasets where possible. Science advances through openness. We operate by the same norms we expect from the journals we read.
Partnership Model
We work alongside our partners, not as vendors but as embedded scientific collaborators. Our goal is always the scientific outcome, not the number of deliverables.
Built from Research, Growing with Purpose
7DNA Analytica grew from a passion for applying computation to hard biological problems, from brain mapping to drug discovery.
Founded, Computational Research Focus
7DNA Analytica was founded with a focus on computational biology and neuroinformatics. Early work centred on brain-connectome analysis and bioinformatics research.
NeuroSignature v1, First Platform Launched
The first version of NeuroSignature went live, providing researchers with computational tools for brain-connectivity analysis using resting-state fMRI and DTI data.
Research Decode, Ecosystem Platform
Research Decode launched as a research ecosystem connecting researchers, scientific service providers and domain experts, expanding beyond neuroinformatics into the broader life sciences.
Today, Growing Across Six R&D Disciplines
Today 7DNA works across computational drug discovery, bioinformatics, biomedical AI, biomedical data analytics, neuroinformatics and scientific computing, with an expanding roster of R&D partnerships.
What Makes Us Different
Domain-First, Computation-Always
We don't apply generic data science to biology. Every method we use is chosen for scientific appropriateness, molecular docking for structure-based design, graph theory for brain connectivity, survival analysis for clinical outcomes. The biology drives the computation.
We Build and We Research
Most companies either build tools or do research. We do both. Our platforms are built by people who actively research in the domain. Our research is informed by what practitioners actually need from software. This cross-pollination makes both better.
Science Has No Geography
Based in India, we work with researchers and organisations globally. We bring world-class computational biology to partners who need it, wherever they are. Our scientific outputs are held to international standards.
We Say No When We Should
We don't take every project. If computational R&D isn't the right approach, we'll tell you. If your question needs a wet lab, we'll help you find one. Our reputation is built on scientific honesty, not on billing hours.
